About this space
Lovely vintage stay in the heart of Giethoorn on the village canal within walking distance of all facilities. Sleep in a nice king-size bed from where you also can watch movies on a large projection screen. The residence has large patio doors to the courtyard & has its own entrance and a free parking space in the yard.
The house is completely private, the garden is shared with the residents. The total surface of the house is 100m2 and completely self-sufficient & the entire house has underfloor heating. The location is spacious and barrier-free, making it also accessible with a wheelchair including toilet and shower.
There is a spacious kitchen with dining table, coffee maker, dishwasher, stove, microwave oven & a spacious refrigerator.The kitchen has a sitting area consisting of 2 single beds and a TV.
From the bed you can watch films on a large projection screen (diameter 3m) with Netflix, AppleTV+ Disney +, Prime Video, NPO Start and Ziggo/HBO Movies & Series.
In addition, there is also a baby cot, high chair and changing mat and possibly also children’s toys. In the closet are nice games & books. Also present is a nicely playable western guitar, a hairdryer and iron.
Bed linen is included and made upon arrival. In addition, there are enough towels and tea towels in the accommodation. Furthermore, all basic products are available in the house: coffee beans, different types of tea, dishwasher cubes, cleaning products, hand soap, shampoo, toilet paper, sugar, oil & spices.
And if something is missing during your stay, we will try to arrange it.
We have a free 2 person Canoe for the guests and there is an option to rent a boat throughout the day.
The Spa / Jacuzzi room can optionally be booked. The costs are € 50 for the first day of use and € 20 for each subsequent day. This includes the use of bathrobes, hammam towels and bath slippers.

Gieters Gruttertje has a stay for a maximum of 4 people, more people are not allowed due to our permit & insurance. It is not a place for noisy & partying groups. During the day, quiet visits are possible in the accommodation.
